Profile
Boya Wen works in the field of number theory and arithmetic geometry. Some of her work also has a combinatorial flavor, involving graphs or integer partitions. She is interested in exploring more in both the number theoretic directions and the combinatorial directions, as well as building more bridges between them. She is passionate about teaching and works to build students’ active thinking in all levels of undergraduate math courses.
Wen received a Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2022. She was a Van Vleck Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before joining the University of Richmond.
